PC2-012: Health Systems, Law, and Policy (3 Credits)

This course examines health systems and healthcare delivery models within legal and policy frameworks. It introduces public health law and policy processes, emphasising evidence-informed decision-making, policy analysis, and the translation of research and data into practical policy initiatives that strengthen public health practice.

PC2-013: Epidemiology and Disease Control (3 Credits)

This course introduces the principles and applications of epidemiology in understanding population health. Learners examine the distribution and determinants of infectious and non-communicable diseases, including aetiology, risk factors, surveillance, and evidence-based strategies for disease prevention and control.

PC2-014: Environmental and Occupational Health (3 Credits)

PC2-016: Health Economics and Quantitative Methods in Public Health (3 Credits)

This course equips learners with foundational health economics and quantitative analytical skills. Emphasis is placed on the use of economic principles, public health indicators, and statistical measures to interpret health trends, inform planning, and evaluate public health interventions.

PC2-017: mMPH Capstone (Practicum and Seminar) (6 Credits)

The capstone course integrates learning across the mMPH programme. Learners complete a supervised seminar project and a structured practicum, demonstrating applied competence in public health analysis, implementation, and reporting. Assessment is based on the rigour, relevance, and quality of submitted reports and presentations.
