1.0 Overview of Embedded Micro-Credentials
To ensure Orapuh Institute graduates are future-ready, competitive, and equipped with practical industry skills, select academic programmes feature mandatory Embedded Micro-Credentials. These external modules are hosted by approved global education partners. Completion of the designated micro-credential is a strict, non-negotiable requirement for the fulfillment of the programme and the subsequent award of the qualification.
2.0 Programme Requirements & Course Codes
2.1 Certificate in Dental Practice Management (CDPM)
Alongside core administrative and business modules, all CDPM students must complete the following operational safety micro-credential:

- Platform Host: Externally Sourced (100% Free Learning Track)
- Core Focus: Dental environment infection control, sterilization protocols, clinical resource tracking, and ergonomics.
- Timeline: Must be completed concurrently with or prior to entering the final assessment phase of the CDPM programme.
2.2 Mini-Master of Public Health (mMPH)
To complement core epidemiology, research, and disease control tracks, all mMPH students must complete the following strategic public relations module:

- Platform Host: Externally Sourced (100% Free Learning Track)
- Core Focus: Media communication strategies, behavior-change campaign design, health advocacy, and crisis communication management.
- Timeline: Must be completed prior to the conclusion of the mMPH instructional blocks.
2.3 Mini-Master of Dental Public Health (mMDPH)
To enhance community outreach and public health policy training, all mMDPH students must complete the following digital outreach track:

- Required Micro-credential: Digital Health Specialization (or designated global health track)
- Platform Host: Externally Sourced (Free Audit Track)
- Core Focus: Decentralized community care networks, mobile health technologies, and population data strategies.
- Timeline: Must be completed prior to the approval of the student’s final capstone or community project.
3.0 Registration and Cost Policy

- Zero Tuition Cost: Students are expected to utilize the free learning tier (Alison) or the “Audit” option (Coursera) to access all learning materials, videos, and modules at no additional cost.
- Certificate Fees: Purchasing the official digital badge or PDF certificate from the host platform is entirely optional for the student’s personal portfolio. Orapuh Institute does not require students to purchase these commercial certificates to clear their graduation requirements.
4.0 Verification and Graduation Clearance Workflow
To receive academic credit and graduation clearance for an embedded micro-credential, students must follow this verification process:
- Complete the Module: Achieve a passing mark on all internal assessments within the external provider’s platform.
- Capture Proof of Completion: Take a clear, full-screen digital screenshot of the final “Course Completed”, “Grade Report”, or “Dashboard Completion” screen. The screenshot must clearly display the student’s full name, the course title, and a 100% progress indicator.
- Submit to the Registry: Upload the screenshot confirmation through the official Orapuh Student Portal or email it directly to the Registry.
- Transcript Entry: Upon verification by the Registry, the course will be recorded on the official Orapuh transcript as a Pass (P) grade under the designation External Micro-Credential Fulfillment.
