For the purposes of this policy, “partners’ resources” include any materials, funding, facilities, technology, intellectual property, or services provided to beneficiaries through Orapuh’s partnerships.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Alignment with Objectives:
Beneficiaries must use partners’ resources in a manner that aligns with the objectives of the specific partnership and the broader mission of Orapuh.

4.2 Compliance with Terms:
All beneficiaries must adhere to the terms and conditions set forth by the partners and Orapuh regarding the use of the provided resources.

4.3 Responsible Usage:
Resources should be used efficiently and responsibly, ensuring that they are applied towards the intended purposes and maximising their potential benefit.

5. Prohibited Use

5.1 Misuse of Resources:
Beneficiaries are prohibited from using partners’ resources for personal gain, illegal activities, or any purposes that are not directly related to the partnership’s objectives.

5.2 Negligence or Inactivity:
Beneficiaries must actively utilise the resources for the intended purpose. Neglecting or failing to use the resources in a timely and appropriate manner may be considered misuse.

5.3 Unauthorised Sharing:
Partners’ resources should not be shared with unauthorised individuals or entities without explicit permission from both Orapuh and the relevant partner.

6. Monitoring and Reporting

6.1 Usage Monitoring:
Orapuh reserves the right to monitor the use of partners’ resources to ensure compliance with this policy. This may include reviewing reports, auditing usage, and requiring periodic updates from beneficiaries.

6.2 Reporting Obligations:
Beneficiaries are required to provide regular reports on the use of resources as stipulated in the partnership agreement. Any issues or challenges in using the resources should be promptly reported to Orapuh.

7. Withdrawal of Privileges

7.1 Grounds for Withdrawal:
Orapuh reserves the right to withdraw access to partners’ resources if:

  • The resources are not being used as intended or are being misused.
  • The beneficiary is not actively utilising the resources within a reasonable timeframe.
  • The beneficiary fails to comply with the terms of this policy or any specific conditions set by Orapuh or the partner.

7.2 Notice of Withdrawal:
Orapuh will provide written notice to the beneficiary if access to resources is being withdrawn. The notice will include the reasons for withdrawal and the effective date.

7.3 Appeal Process:
Beneficiaries may appeal the decision to withdraw access to resources by submitting a written request to Orapuh’s designated review committee within 10 business days of receiving the withdrawal notice. The appeal should include a justification for continued access and any corrective actions taken.

8. Consequences of Misuse

8.1 Disciplinary Action:
Misuse of partners’ resources may result in disciplinary action by Orapuh, which could include termination of access to resources, suspension, or other appropriate measures.

8.2 Legal Action:
In cases where misuse involves illegal activities, Orapuh reserves the right to pursue legal action against the beneficiary.

9. Training and Awareness

9.1 Initial Training:
Beneficiaries will receive training on the responsible use of partners’ resources as part of their onboarding process. This training will cover the key elements of this policy and the specific expectations of each partnership.

9.2 Ongoing Awareness:
Orapuh will provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure beneficiaries are aware of their responsibilities and any updates to this policy.

10. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or as required to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to all beneficiaries.
