Orapuh Journal supports open science and the rapid dissemination of scientific knowledge through the use of preprints. Authors submitting to the journal are encouraged to make their preliminary manuscripts publicly available prior to formal peer review. To preserve the integrity of the journal's indexing feeds, all preprint hosting is handled on a dedicated, completely separate repository platform.
Dedicated Preprint Hub (Separate Platform)
Preprints are not hosted on the Orapuh Journal website (orapuh.org/jr/orapj/). Instead, they are deposited and hosted exclusively within the Orapuh Academic Repository (orapuh.org/jr/acadrep).
This complete platform isolation ensures that unrefereed manuscripts never mix with the journal's formal peer-reviewed metadata stream.
Optional Opt-In and Screening
Sharing a preprint is entirely optional and operates on an opt-in basis during the journal submission process.
Opted-in manuscripts undergo a rapid, 48-hour preliminary screening by the editorial team for basic scope alignment, ethical compliance, and structural completeness.
Once approved, the editorial team will transfer and publish the raw manuscript file directly onto the Orapuh Academic Repository platform.
Custom Identifiers and Status
Preprints hosted on the repository will not receive formal Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).
Instead, they are assigned a unique, permanent tracking number using the Orapuh sequential numbering format (ORAPUH-PP-[YEAR]-[SEQUENCE]).
All preprint landing pages and PDF files will display a prominent notice stating that the work is an un-refereed draft that should not be used to guide clinical practice.
Transition to the Journal Version of Record
If a preprint manuscript successfully completes the peer-review process and is accepted for publication within Orapuh Journal:
The final, copyedited paper will be published on the Orapuh Journal platform and assigned a permanent Crossref DOI.
The original draft will remain permanently accessible on the Orapuh Academic Repository under its ORAPUH-PP identifier for historical transparency.
The repository page will be updated with a prominent web link pointing directly to the final published Version of Record on the journal platform.

Option d'adhésion et évaluation préliminaire
Le partage d'une prépublication est entièrement optionnel et fonctionne sur la base d'une adhésion volontaire (opt-in) lors du processus de soumission au journal.
Les manuscrits acceptés font l'objet d'une évaluation préliminaire rapide de 48 heures par l'équipe éditoriale afin de vérifier l'adéquation de base avec le champ d'application, la conformité éthique et la complétude structurelle.
Une fois approuvée, l'équipe éditoriale transférera et publiera le manuscrit brut directement sur la plateforme de l'Orapuh Academic Repository.
Identifiants personnalisés et statut
Les prépublications hébergées sur le dépôt institutionnel ne se verront PAS attribuer de DOI (Digital Object Identifiers) Crossref officiels.
À la place, un numéro de suivi permanent et unique leur sera attribué selon le format de numérotation séquentielle d'Orapuh (ORAPUH-PP-[ANNÉE]-[SÉQUENCE]).
Toutes les pages de destination et tous les fichiers PDF des prépublications afficheront un avis important soulignant que le travail est un projet non révisé qui ne doit pas être utilisé pour guider la pratique clinique.
Transition vers la version officielle (Version of Record) du journal
Si un manuscrit de prépublication passe avec succès le processus d'évaluation par les pairs et est accepté pour publication au sein d'Orapuh Journal :
L'article final et révisé sera publié sur la plateforme d'Orapuh Journal et recevra un DOI Crossref permanent.
Le projet original restera accessible en permanence sur l'Orapuh Academic Repository sous son identifiant ORAPUH-PP à des fins de transparence historique.
La page du dépôt sera mise à jour avec un lien web visible pointant directement vers la version finale officielle publiée sur la plateforme du journal.
