Requirements

Short-Courses, Basic Programmes, and Remedial Programmes:

  • Interest in a programme or course 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English Language
  • Payment of the Admission Processing Fee

Graduate Programmes:

  • Interest in a programme
  • Possession of a relevant degree or its equivalent recognised by the school’s Oversight and Academic Board (OAB)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English Language
  • Payment of the Admission Processing Fee

Process

Programmes

1. A prospective student pays the Admission Processing Fee (APF)* of $10 (USD) or D600 (GMD) (N7,150) only.

2. The prospective student fills and submits the School’s Application Form

3. Admissions Office processes the application and issues a Provisional Admission Letter to the applicant

4. The applicant accepts the offer in writing to [email protected]

5. The admitted student pays the Enrolment Fee (EF)* and is enroled in the relevant programme and session.

6. Student is scheduled for orientation, the Mastering Study Skills (MSS) course, and normal classes 

7. Student begins to acquire rare capabilities

**An admitted student could work out EF payment plan with the Finance Unit in the event that they are not able to pay the enrolment fee at once.


Short Courses

1. A prospective student pays the Short Course Fee (SCF)* of $30 (USD) or D1,920 (GMD) (N30,000) for a 1 Week course or $50 (USD) or D3,160 (GMD)  (N50,145) for a 2 Weeks course only.

Note: you will need evidence of SCF payment and highest educational qualification to fill the application form

2. The prospective student fills out the School’s Application Form

3. Admissions Office processes the application and schedules the student for classes

4. Student begins to acquire rare capabilities

Remedial Courses

1. A prospective student pays the Remedial Course Fee (RCF).

Note: you will need evidence of RCF payment and highest educational qualification to fill the application form

2. The prospective student fills out the School’s Application Form

3. Admissions Office processes the application and schedules the student for classes

4. Student begins to acquire rare capabilities

1. Pay Admission Processing Fee and keep the evidence of payment
2. Learn about Programme Plans in your chosen programme’s catalogue if you are choosing a programme from the Department of Basic Studies
3. Explore Enrolment Fees
4. Hold the evidence of your highest academic qualification
